Nominate Those Who Inspire You

The Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum honors all musicians regardless of genre or instrument. As a member of the AFM, you are eligible to nominate up to 10 musicians, two producers, two arrangers, and two engineers for induction into the Musicians Hall of Fame. Simply log on to the Musicians Hall of Fame nomination page (http://www.musicianshalloffame.com/nominations/) and enter your picks before the end of the year. Previous honorees have included Local 257 (Nashville, TN) members Billy Cox, Fred Foster, Charlie Daniels; and Local 47 (Los Angeles, CA) members Steve and Jeff Porcaro; and Local 47 member Steve Lukather and Local 257 member David Hungate with the band Toto.

Nathan East Will Be Inducted into NAMM TEC Awards Hall of Fame

Bassist Nathan East will be inducted into the NAMM TEC Awards Hall of Fame by the NAMM Foundation. The induction will occur during the 30^th Annual NAMM Technical Excellence & Creativity Award show on January 24^th in Anaheim, California.

East has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry including: Daft Punk, Stevie Wonder, George Harrison, Michael Jackson, Phil Collins, Beyoncé. and many more. He has over 2,000 recordings making him one of the most recorded bassists of all time. He worked with Clapton on the multi-Grammy award winning Unplugged Album, and played bass on Daft Punk’s Grammy winning album “Random Access Memories.”
