Hommage à une lobbyiste de la Fédération canadienne des musiciens

En février, au nom de la Fédération canadienne des musiciens, Alan Willaert, vice président pour le Canada, et Liana White, directrice générale, ont rendu hommage à la lobbyiste de la FCM, Isabel Metcalfe, qui quitte la présidence du conseil au bureau d’Ottawa des Famous Five (Cinq femmes célèbres). Madame Metcalfe a milité avec courage et passion pendant les 20 dernières années pour la reconnaissance des femmes et de leurs droits. Nous sommes heureux qu’elle œuvre à la FCM en faveur de nos musiciens et de notre milieu. Lors d’une réception soulignant les accomplissements de Madame Metcalfe, elle a adressé ce message aux femmes : « Continuez à promouvoir vos idées, à faire campagne, à lutter et à grandir ! ».
